Contract for the Supply of Products or Services

1 Price and Ordering

1.1 The price payable for the goods is set out on the web site at the time the Customer places their order.

1.2 No contract for the supply of products or goods will be deemed to exist between you and Brenton Group UK unless, and until, an email is sent by brentongroupuk@gmail.com to you confirming that your order has been accepted and payment has been successfully made. The Company will indicate acceptance of the Customer’s order, and hence a contract between the Customer and the Company. The Company has included this term to protect against a mistake in pricing, where the Company has inadvertently under-priced or over-priced goods, or the Company is no longer able to supply a particular product for whatever reason.

1.3 In the case of a change of price, the Company will always contact the Customer first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

1.4 Similarly, if the product is no longer available the Company will seek to offer the Customer a suitable alternative.

1.5 The Company only accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and PayPal as valid methods of payment.

1.6 Items will be paid for at the point of order. In the event that items have to be back-ordered or are not available the Customer will be given the option to cancel the order. If the Customer cancels the order they will not be charged.

2 Orders Received

2.1 All orders received before 12pm will be processed and dispatched next day subject to stock availability. We do not process any orders placed during weekends, Bank Holidays until the following working day. Orders placed after 12pm on Friday will be processed on the following Monday.

3 Availability of Goods

3.1 Brenton Group Uk work very hard to manage all our stock levels to meet demand. All goods advertised for sale on our site are subject to availability. If an item turns out to be unavailable, we will inform you by e-mail or by telephone. If in the unlikely event of a stock shortage we will contact you to notify you of the delay and dispatch your order as soon as possible.

4 Deliveries

4.1 We do not deliver to Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland. Areas of delivery: London, North West, South West, North East, South East, East Midlands, West Midlands, East of England and Yorkshire.

4.2 We use City Link , Business Post and Royal Mail as our couriers as they provide next day delivery at affordable prices enabling us to keep our prices low.

4.3 Brenton Group UK takes no responsibility for delays in delivery due to adverse weather or conditions which are beyond our control.

4.4 City link will attempt delivery twice if no one is available to take delivery. They will take photographic evidence to prove they attempted to deliver. It is the customers responsibility to reschedule the delivery at a more convenient time. If delivery is missed twice and no reschedule has been authorised the goods will be returned to Brenton Group UK. Customer will be liable to pay for redeliver if they want goods sending out again. DELIVERY CHARGES: Up to 5 boxes £7.50 weighing 10kg in total. Charges after 5 boxes will vary.

4.5 If the courier is unable to deliver due to having a wrong or incomplete address, we will contact you on the number you provided and also send you the tracking information by email. It is the customer’s responsibility then to reschedule the delivery by providing the correct details. The couriers will attempt to deliver on 3 occasions and failing the attempts the goods will be sent back to. Brenton Group UK Depending on the size of the goods the couriers charge a fee for having to store the goods for the duration of 3 days and delivering them back to Brenton Group UK. If their attempts have failed due to the error of the customer, the customer will be liable to pay the fee of the courier service. This could be up £40 + vat.

4.6 If the item was free post and packaging charges, we will deduct 25% from the total price to cover the post and packaging charges.

5. Prices

5.1. The prices displayed on our site are correct at the time of display. However we reserve the right to alter prices from time to time without notice. When we have accepted an order we will not change the price that applies to that order.

5.2 We make every effort to maintain prices but these may be subject to variations caused by factors beyond our control.

5.3 If you wish to make a bulk purchase, depending on location we may consider prices at a discounted rate. However this is not mandatory

6. VAT

6.1 All orders will have 20.0% VAT added. VAT is charged on all sales to customers located within the UK

7. Refunds

7.1 The Customer will bear the cost of returning the goods to the Company unless the goods are being returned because they are incorrect or defective.

7.2 On receipt of the goods by the Company the Customer will receive a refund to the total value of goods returned (excluding any postage) subject to the goods being returned in an un-spoilt, saleable condition. The prices include the postage and packaging so refund will be – these costs.

7.3 The Customer can notify the Company by telephone or email (brentongroupuk@gmail.com) if they wish to return an item

8. Liability

8.1 We do not accept responsibility for damage to goods caused by you

8.2 We will not be liable to any person for damage or loss arising from the use of goods advertised on our site.

8.3 Without prejudice to your statutory rights the information contained in this site is provided without warranty and in particular we do not represent or warrant that the information is accurate, complete or current or that the use of this site will be uninterrupted or error free.

8.4 We will not be responsible for claims relating to the availability of our range, our eCommerce engine, our website, place of purchase or the success or level of sales resulting from these.

8.5 Any defect in the quality, quantity and condition of the goods should be notified by the Customer to the Company (as per point 7.3), on receipt of the goods and the delivery should be refused by the Customer. If the Customer does not notify the company and refuse the delivery the Company will not accept liability for such defect and the Customer will required to pay for the goods in full as if delivered.

8.6 The Company will inspect the goods returned and if the defect is identified, the Customer will be given the option of replacement at no additional cost or a full refund of the price of the goods. The Company will have no further liability to the Customer.

8.7 The Company will inspect the goods returned and if no defect is identified the goods will be returned to the Customer at the Customer’s cost. Costs will depend on quantity and weight of goods.

8.8 The Company under no circumstances will be liable to the Customer for any loss of profits, additional costs, indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of any defect in goods supplied. The Company’s liability will be restricted to the value of goods returned found to be defective on inspection. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

9. Force Majeure

9.1 The Company shall have no liability to the Customer for any failure or delay in supply or delivery or for any damage or defect to the goods supplied or delivered caused by any event or circumstance beyond the Company’s reasonable control. (4.3)

10. Returns  

10.1 We do not accept returns of the following goods are they cannot be resold once opened.

11. Opening Times

11.1 We are closed during the Christmas period from 20th December up until 5nd January. All orders will be processed as usual thereafter.
